The purpose of the present invention is therefore to provide a ski helmet, which includes both the helmet and the eye protection in a single element.

Referring to the attached figures, a ski helmet according to the present invention comprises a main cap 10 which forms the base of the helmet. The cap 10 is made of a body of styrofoam coated both inside and outside with a layer of polycarbonate which has been formed by means of an " in-mold " mentioned molding technique is applied to the polystyrene.

The visor 15, which is made of polycarbonate, has a substantially rectangular shape, with a design which forms a rounded contour, and a corresponding recess for the nose, and has in the upper central region a projection 16 which a vertical slot 17 comprises.
Side and top, the visor 15 includes two openings, each aligned vertically and are arranged approximately 1.5 cm apart.

The upper cap 20 is fixed by means of screws 18 fixed to the main cap 10.

A slidable pushbutton 30 comprises a pin 31 at the bottom. At the lower end of the pin 31, a lower washer 32 is fixed, and at about half the distance between the washer 32 and the pushbutton 30, an intermediate piece 33 is disposed.
The lower disc 32 comprises elements for anchoring with pin 31. The elements 25 for moving the visor 15 are mounted on the upper cap 20.
The cylinders 19 are pushed into the corresponding openings and arranged in each case at the level of the guides 22.
The upper cap 20 is fastened to the main cap 10 by means of the screws 18.
In this way, a ski helmet has been made with retractable visor.
